ROYAL CARIBBEAN – ALLURE OF THE SEAS (2 OF 2)

July 3, 2016

Here is the second installment of my travels for . Make sure to check out my first post!

I’m excited to share with you my travel photos from each of the islands. Here we go!

We made three stops on our seven night stay. The first stop was NASSAU, BAHAMAS. I’ve visited once before this trip, so I knew what to expect. What I love is the old vintage architecture, and pastel colored buildings. Perfect for Instagram! Lots of shopping for tourists. If there wasn’t a torrential downpour, I would have loved to explore a little further.

The next stop was the beautiful ST. THOMAS. I have to say, this was my favorite stop. It took us a while to travel to the beach from our port. We had to go through the mountain side which allowed us to catch some great views. Post beach, we went on the Skyride (tramway) to Paradise Point where we were able to photograph the hustle and bustle of the St. Thomas Harbor.

The last stop of our trip was ST. MAARTEN. This stop had tons of shopping as well. But the most memorable thing from this port was the coconut Pina Colada which you can grab right when you exit the ship in one of the many vendor stalls. It was so good we went back for seconds.

FINAL THOUGHTS.
Overall I had a relaxing time. It was nice to decompress and not have to stress. I’m not sure if I’m a cruise kind of girl, but I definitely appreciated the experience. The boat was big enough that you didn’t really feel the waves on the water as you were travelling. It made for a good sleep. And there was plenty of activities and places and food to keep you occupied. All you can eat is dangerous though. I’m pretty sure I gained a few pounds after this trip. Felt like a satisfied marshmallow though.

Hope you all enjoyed these last two travel blog posts. Always looking forward to the next adventure!
